My First Attempt to Blog! What an Accomplishment!

Ok, so here it goes my first *real* blog. I'm a busy wife and mommy. I married my high school sweetheart almost 14 years ago and we have 3 amazing children ages 9, 6 and 2. Our boys keep us busy with school, cub scouts and other various activities. and then of course there's our 2 year old daughter who has both her mommy & daddy wrapped around her little finger.

So, I'm not a writer by any means, but I guess I can pretend to be one here! 

With  family and friends scattered in so many different states, it will be nice for them to keep track of our daily activities here on this blog.

Right now the kids are gearing up for spring break. We have parent teacher conferences later on this week for both of the boys. Then a week from today we leave for Alabama to see Ric's Aunt Judy. We will be with her for a week. She has a house in Birmingham Alabama and the weather has GOT to be warmer down there then what it is up here! I'm hoping it will be nice and sunny too! Of course I'm a little bit nervous about driving all the way down to Alabama with 3 kids. I think I'll be able to relax a lot more once I actually get down there. The boys travel great, but it's Lauren who has me worried. Twelve hours in a van isn't exactly what I consider FUN! But, in the end the trip will be all worth it! I'll try to keep posting on here. Hopefully I can make this a habit. We'll see how I do!
